An Attitude of Gratitude: Three Reasons Why I'm Thankful for Pez - "I am thankful for a lot of things in this world. Health, happiness, freedom, love, family, clean air, and weekends are definitely on the top of that list. But I would be remiss if I failed to mention my appreciation for Pez. In this, the month of Thanksgiving, I would like to offer three reasons why I'm thankful for Pez."

Four Pez-Related Things That Make Me Say "Thanks" - "This is the season for giving thanks, so I'd like to express my gratitude for a variety of things that make life as a Pezhead easier and more enjoyable."

Thanks

T hanks is an uncommon word,
H ardly uttered, hardly heard,
A nd when it is, it sounds absurd
N ever said with much real care.
K indness given in exchange
S eems rare and indeed rather strange;
G ratitude is such a change
I n times where things are seldom shared.
V ery softly, then, I tread
I n giving thanks and breaking bread,
N eatly put and simply said:
G razie, Pez, for being there.

Pez Haiku #149

A Pez dispenser
As a Thanksgiving Day float
Would make me grateful.

Pez Haiku #165

Stuffing the turkey,
Like loading the dispenser,
Fills what is empty.

Pez Haiku #183

I am thankful for
The pals that stand up for me
In my Pez display.

Thank You (Faloadinme Up with Pez Agin)
To the tune of Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin) by Sly and The Family Stone
Copyright 2005 JoePez Publications

Loaded up with candy,
Feelin' mighty fine
Finger tilts my head back,
Now's my time to shine.
Pullin' out the goodness,
And you know what to do
I've got the stuff you're needin',
It's all because of you.

I want to thank you faloadinme
Up with Pez agin
Thank you faloadinme
Up with Pez agin

Forget about the bad times
Cause they're all in the past
And now I'm freshly loaded,
You know it’s gonna last.
Call up all your friends now,
Get them over here.
‘Cause I got Pez to offer,
Yeah, you filled me with cheer.

I want to thank you faloadinme
Up with Pez agin
Thank you faloadinme
Up with Pez agin

Children in the city,
Families on the farm.
Doesn’t matter where you are,
I’m soundin’ the alarm.
Things are looking really up,
I’m lookin’ at the ceiling
Cause you’re takin’ what I got,
Baby, what a feelin’

I want to thank you faloadinme
Up with Pez agin
Thank you faloadinme
Up with Pez agin

Lots of things deserve our thanks,
Way too much to list.
But I’m grateful most of all
When you flick your wrist
Put your troubles on the shelf,
Won’t do no good today.
Cause I’m loaded up again,
Yeah, I’m giving it away.

Thank you faloadinme
Up with Pez agin
I want to thank you faloadinme
Up with Pez agin
Thank you faloadinme
Up with Pez agin
Thank you faloadinme
Up with Pez agin
I want to thank you faloadinme
Up with Pez agin

Here is a Pez-flavored twist on a famous line from the hilarious Thanksgiving "Turkeys Away" episode of classic sitcom "WKRP in Cincinnati."

And lastly, here is an animated gif of Kramer from "Seinfeld" in the episode where Newman imagined him as a turkey. And wouldn't you know it, he's wearing a Pez hat!
