I got my first dispensers,
And now I am a Pezhead, yes.
A couple months was all it took,
It was the summer of 60 Pez.

I took a trip to Wal-Mart,
Came across the Smiley set.
Simpsons too, and then the Sourz,
There was so much Pez to get.

Oh and when I look back now,
That Wal-Mart trip forever changed me
And, yes, the very next week
I found the Poohs and then the Disneys
Those were the first days and the best
Back in the summer of 60 Pez.

Oh, and then I checked out eBay,
Scored the Tweenie set without a fight
Jungle Book and Pokemon, too,
And Bob the Builder was so right

Standin' in a checkout line
Or making highest auction bidding,
I got a lot of Pez,
Man, I'll tell you I ain't kidding
Those were the first days and the best
Back in the summer of 60 Pez.

Man I was spending cash
But it was all so worth it,
I was making a Pez stash.
I'll be a Pezhead now, forever - forever, yeah

Then I hit a Pez convention,
Found myself new Valentines.
Christmas Pez, and Jack-in-the Box,
And Mr. Bean Pez is so fine!

Standin' in a checkout line

I got a lot of Pez,
Man, I'll tell you I ain't kidding
