There
are some smaller items to share this month, so I thought
I'd combine all of them into a new feature called... wait
for it... okay, you've already read it by now in the title,
so just pretend to act surprised...: Assorted Flavors.
So,
let's roll. Or rather, let's unwrap the roll.

Pezhead
Monthly has a new mobile site.
Pezhead
Monthly's mobile site has changed from pezheadmonthly.com/iphone
to pezheadmonthly.zapd.net
(It also translates pretty well to a standard screen).
For those of you with iOS devices, check out the free
Zapd
app, which allows you to create and shared websites
in minutes or even seconds (I hear it's coming to Android
devices soon). The new mobile site won't be a condensed
version of the current issue, but rather an occasionally
updated page of photos and posts from the archives and/or
maybe some new stuff too (which might make its way into
the next month's issue). There is also a comment feature
for you to share your thoughts. Check out my Twitter feed
for updates to the Zapd site. Speaking of which...
Follow
Pezhead Monthly on Facebook and Twitter!
Pezhead
Monthly's Facebook
page now has over 100 followers. Hooray! I'll catch
up to Lady
Gaga in no time. I will use the Facebook page to send
out updates for new issues, and I may also post other
stuff such as advance content from an upcoming issue exclusively
on that page (such as this month's Batman video). If you
want to friend me personally on Facebook, here
is my page. I tend to be selective these days in who I
add as friends, but if you mention Pezhead Monthly I'd
be glad to add you.
Pezhead
Monthly's Twitter page is here.
I use Twitter to share when new issues are added too.
I also use it for more immediate Pez items. For example,
when at Pezamania I tweeted occasionally as events were
happening, and also posted many of the pictures that are
included in this month's recap. Be aware, however, that
this is my personal Twitter feed, so I will occasionally
post things that don't have anything to do with Pez, such
as this recent
tweet about finding the new Weird Al album on vinyl
(although to be fair, I was wearing a Pez shirt
in that picture). I do keep my Twitter posts clean, so
no worries there.
(By
the way, I have discontinued the @peteyojay Twitter feed
which was mentioned in a previous issue. Any Pez updates
will come through the @joepez feed.)
If
you are not into social networking sites and would still
like site updates, please contact me at update (at) pezheadmonthly
(dot) com and I can add you to the Pezhead Monthly Updates
e-mail list.
Pezhead
Monthly 10-Year Shirts are still available.
In
case you didn't know, Pezhead Monthly is currently celebrating
its 10th year in publication. I haven't referenced it
too much this year, as there has been a lot of other stuff
going on, but I hope to dedicate some space to it in one
or two of the remaining issues this year.
In
the meantime, check out the Pezhead
Monthly 10-Year shirts from Printfection. They come
in a variety of colors and, having worn one myself, I
can personally attest to their comfort.
Wall
of Pez!
One
of my Facebook friends recently posted a picture of this
wall, which as I understand is from the headquarters of
eBay. It captures a wide variety of Pez dispensers that
appear to be enjoying a movie or some other show. Pretty
cool! Click on the picture for a much larger view.

Submit
to Pezhead Monthly!
And
I don't mean that in an evil, Cobra Commander type of
way. If you have an original poem, story, photo, video,
or any other creative form of expression (relating to
Pez, of course), you are welcome to submit for consideration
in a future issue. Full details are available here.
