Welcome to Pezhead Monthly!

Well folks, there's a lot to cover, so let's get right to it. To paraphrase Paul Revere (who by the way makes a great Pez dispenser): "Pezamania is coming! Pezamania is coming!" And I have found several new Pez recently, which is good news because that means more money to spend on vintage dispensers at Pezamania 18. Recent acquisitions include the new Batman set (which has instantly become one of my favorite sets ever), the Pirate of the Caribbean set, Kung Fu Panda, and the new Mickey, Minnie, and Donald. Good stuff, one and all!

The Pezamania theme runs throughout most of this issue, which by the way wraps up Pezhead Monthly's seventh (yes, seventh!) year. There is of course the cover image, as well as two new rockin' song parodies in honor of Pezamania 18. Heck, even this month's Pez Almost-Quote is one part Pezamania, one part Hulkster. Also in this issue is a sit-down with Davy Jones Pez, in which questions, awkward moments, and even a sea chanty all abound. And of course, some Pez Poetry is included as well.

I am very much looking forward to Cleveland and seeing everyone again, and of course the Pez, the glorious Pez. Look for the traditional recap to kick off Volume 8 next month.

Believe it or not, Pezamania 18 is mere weeks away- in fact, less than two weeks from time of this writing. And as the magical weekend gets closer and closer, I realize once again what a rockin' time will be had at the big event. And as a public service, I'd like to pass along that feeling to you, the noble reader.

So herewith, two rock songs inspired by the wonder that is Pezamania. Take off down the highway and kick out these jams on the way to the biggest, baddest Pez convention in the world.
