Mickey Mouse Pez Tin,
You are a welcome surprise
In this checkout lane.

Maybe It's Too Much

Maybe it's too much
To be so Pez-obsessed,
To still collect for all these years
As if I was possessed.

Maybe it's too much
To have a Pez-filled wall,
For hundreds of these tiny things
To keep me so enthralled.

Maybe it's too much
To drive across state lines,
To add another 40 more
To this large bunch of mine.

Maybe it's too much
To write this very verse,
There surely are more worthy things
In which to be immersed.

Maybe it's too much,
Perhaps you're right, my friend,
Or maybe I'll just have to stay
A Pezhead till the end.
