Welcome
once again to the pages of Pezhead Monthly.
This
month has seen many new Pez scores for me. First, I found
all of the new Pixar dispensers except one (and Mike Wazowski,
you're next). I also picked up a couple of the newer Valentines
dispensers with the white stems. Pretty cool. Lastly, as
a complete surprise, I stumbled upon a Giant Indianapolis
Colt Pez dispenser at a local candy shop. I brought it in
to work for a show and tell and it was a big hit (I work
only a few blocks away from where the Colts play their home
games).
I
actually had a chance to sit down with the Giant Indianapolis
Colt Pez for this month's five questions segment. By the
time you read this, the result of the big game may be over,
but the spirit that this Pez dispenser brings to the interview
will remain. Also in this issue are some Pez love songs
for the romantic Pezhead in all of us. Rounding out the
issue is some Pez Poetry and the Pez Almost-Quote.
Thanks
very much for reading and I hope you enjoy the game (Go
Colts!).
See
you next month!

Pez Love Songs top

A couple
of years ago, Pezhead Monthly presented some Pez
love songs to celebrate Valentine's Day. This year,
the Pez love train keeps on rollin', as the below three
songs prove.
You
Are Collectible
To the tune of "You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker

You
are collectible
To me
You are collectible
To me
Can't you see
You
load me up with wonder,
I load you up with treats.
You are collectible
To me.
You
are collectible
To me
Pez indispensable
To me
Can't you see
When
I tilt your head back,
Out pops sweet candy.
You
are collectible
To me.
You
are collectible
To me

To the tune of "Take My Breath Away" by Berlin

Driving
to the drug store,
On this old, familiar lane
Parking in the last spot,
In the heavy, pouring rain
Racing to the door, I
Long to finally get inside
Noticing some new Pez,
I fall to my knees and say

Dancing
down the aisle,
Slowly with my newest find,
Eventually arriving
At the checkout counter line
Paying the cashier, then
Racing through the rain outside
People staring at me
As I turn to you and say,
Join
my Pez display
Now
at last you've got a new home,
Your bag, I'll rip away
No longer will you feel so alone,
And soon I'll hear you say
If only for today,
"I am unafraid."

There
upon the top shelf,
You are very gently placed.
Memories of bad times,
Soon they all will be erased.
Standing next to others,
Looking sharp and feeling great,
Hoping that another
Soon will know this special day, hey hey

Will
You Load Me Tomorrow
To the tune of "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" by
the Shirelles

Tonight
I'm filled with candy
For your Pez needs, I'm handy
Tonight you'll flip me time and time again
But will you load me tomorrow?
Is this
eternal popping
Or will the Pez flow be stopping?
Can you assure that I will still dispense?
Will you still load me tomorrow?
Tonight
my Pez is tempting
You'll flip me till your thumb is sore
But will my chamber be empty
When this fruitful night is no more?
I'd
like to know that your plan
Is to refill me on demand
So tell me now, and I won't ask again
Will you still load me tomorrow?
So tell
me now, and I won't ask again
Will you still load me tomorrow?
Will you still load me tomorrow?
Will you still load me tomorrow?
